Taller windshield (I have a LRS 9" recurve), Fairing mounted air deflectors and the fork baffle. I'm 6' tall with 34" inseam. This works perfect for me. Still some air but smooth.
Are you looking for a pic of the Halrey fork baffle?
Or the ones that go on the outsides of the forks like these:
Fork baffle, 8" Fastaire-Aero windshield. I'm 5-8 with stock seat on an Flht. This combo is slightly better than the stock 12" for me, plus I can see over the windshield.
For me personally, I don't really like the ones that go outside the forks. I saw the HD pic of the other ones, but it's kinda a crappy pic. Anyone have a shot from the front or something to see what this thing actually looks like installed?
So I got a 2012 Street Glide, and the wind hitting me is crazy. I never felt anything like this on my road king.
So i purchased a new wind vest wind screen, and it's helped a little. I've noticed most of the air hitting me in the chest and head is coming from below. Air is moving right up the side of the tank and POW.
Any suggestions on what i can do to stop the insanity?
thanks,
You could get one of those HD pickup trucks and keep the windows rolled up I suppose.
So, windshield, fork baffle, fairing deflectors (adjustable work great)...in combination, makes a great difference. The hardest part is picking the right windshield. Lots of choices. It depends a lot on how tall you are. I do find flip ups like the Long Ride Shields really do give more protection for the same height vs non-flip ups.
