..... Road Glide ?
.... spacious cockpit feel, very stable out on that long road towards nowhere in particular.
...... i wouldn't trade mine for anything but a brand new, fully dressed Yellow one. ...... {hint, hint .. c'mon Willie, i'm'a waitin' for a yellow RGU!!}
Nice Picture !!!
Sharks are cooler than bats
just sit on one - much better **** pit (in my prejudice opinion)
I have just bought a 2012 RGU and already put 2000 miles on it. I had a 2002 Gold Wing, 2003 Yamaha Venture, 2008 Road King, 2010 Utra Glide, and 2011 Ultra limited and I like the Road Glide the best. I am not crazy about the look but the open **** pit gives my 6' 3" body plenty of room. And for some reason, I am taking curves alot faster on this bike. My wife was the first to say something about how smooth and fast I was taking the curves. Had to put a bigger windshield to take care of wind but other than that, it is wonderful..

Lowballing trade-in's is part of their business...... which is why I ride the snot out of my bikes, so when I DO trade them in.... the low-ball offers, are actually fair....
Best judge for the snark, is the test ride.... I was hooked by the shark 2 miles out of the dealership. It was a busy day, and the sales guy was alone, so he told me to take the bike on a LONG ride.... I did.... but I knew quickly it was for me.
Seats, and windshield (as with most bikes)make all the difference. My bike is dialed in... I'm afraid to even LOOK at a new one....
Looking for some honest opinions about the Road Glide. I currently have a 2004 Fatboy, that I have bagged out. I love the look, but am looking for a true touring bike. I located a 2004 Road Glide, one owner bike, at a dealership. It is priced right, and I feel I can negotiate a good deal. I have never owned a Road Glide, so I am wondering what people think of them. Thanks in advance for chiming in.......
I had the same as you until last month , a 05 Fatboy with detachable fairing , windshield and bags. Loved the bike Stage 2 95 kit and progressive suspension. But I kept trying to make it a bagger, it was a great bike but still a convertible and I found that I did less and less riding without the Fairing or windshield..
I took the jump July 3 to a 2011 FLTRX Road Glide Custom, I kept wanting to try to work it out to keep my Fatboy but could not so I just did it. Now 6 weeks later I wonder why I did not do it sooner. I love the Road Glide, it is better IMO around town, on the twisties and on the freeway. It is more nimble in a parking lot and out corners my Fatboy on the canyons. Its smooth on the freeway.
