Heck yeah it is. I don't care what the "throttle lock" guys tell you, there is simply no substitute for a cruise control system installed on your bike. You will use that thing all the time.
Long distance on a highway/interstate.....comes in handy. (As does the CB radio....and a backrest....OH.....drink holder. Crap.....GPS with a MP3 player.)
Yep...cruise control for sure.
I added cruise to my 08 and use it a lot. Pretty simple install on the TBW bikes but most will have to have the ECM reflashed by the dealer to enable the cruise.
It's like power windows. You don't know what your missing until you've had it. It is the reason I traded my Softail.
That one is pretty easy to install since it is throdle by wire. You will need to have the dealer turn the option ON in the ECM once it is installed. Took me about 30 min. to do mine.
I think it should at least be an option for every bike and anything with a 103 should have it as a standard option. If you have it, you are going to use it.
