Default Front wheel dock for Ultra

Hoping someone can help with this convoluted question.

I am in the UK so don't enjoy the level of variety you get in the US

I have an Ultra and want to build a loading mechanism to get the bike in the back of my van. It is a tight fit so riding it in is not an option.

I must be able to load and unload on my own so I need to mount a front wheel chock on a ramp which I will then winch up.

So, 2 key questions:

Who makes most robust / best chock?

The fact that this will be mounted on a ramp changes the geometry, will a standard chock work in this configuration?

Thumbs up Baxley!!!

Not inexpensive, but IMHO, the very best. I've bought 4 (gave my son 2). Also, nice personal service.

I would look at Condor or smart chock.

If I understand correctly, your cheapest option might be a set of these:
http://www.stylintrucks.com/parts/ramp_kits/196.aspx
with one of these: http://www.discountramps.com/wheel-c...FY125QodAiNnNA

The simple loop chocks will work. They work better with two people, one to steady the bike while the other attaches the tie downs, but if you work out a system with your tie downs and hooks, one person can do it.
