Here's a new one I thought I would share. The ABS idiot light would not go out on my 2010 StreetGlide. It would flash and then remain on SOMETIMES and then sometimes not. Took it in to the Dealer today. Fixed. Was told "broken wire in fairing". Warranty repair #3 so far.

Wait till a field mouse sneaks in the fairing over the winter and has a picnic!
I have a 2010 Ultra, and the light would come on and stay on, but when I take it to the dealer, they could not find it. I found the prob, it is on the left side under the forks...follow the wire from the abs sensor on frt wheel up the forks and there is a two wire quick disconnet........about 4 inches up from that quick disconnect the wires were broke inside the wire insulation....It took me a while to finally figure out the wires were broken, by sliding my finger up and each wire.....and you will notice it gets soft, meaning wires have seperated......It seems the wires were not given enough turning radius and pulling them tight constantly......I just pulled the excess wires from under gas tank and soldered and heat shrink on the repairs and ready to go...Hope this helps anyone with the same situation.
Mine has been in the shop for damn near 2 weeks, ABS light on, code I pulled showed low voltage. 3 days worth of diagnosing and Harley technical involved, I finally got a call from the shop foreman stating an ABS control module was ordered and it would be here in 5-7 days. Not one time has my advisor called me to update me at all, I call everytime. I finally got pissed and called him this morning, he said the part had just arrived and told me it should be ready later on. Left work @ 5pm, no call so I call him, tells me tech is about to go on road test I will call you either way. Takes me an hour to get home and get the wife "if" bike is ready, then another 30 mins to get to the dealer. Guess what, no call from advisor and the shop closed at 7pm. Is this the norm for a HD dealer? I'm beyond pissed right now and want to ride!
I'm a service advisor at a BMW dealer and if I tell my clients I will call them, I call them.

It's not normal for my dealer. If they say they'll call, they call. Just curious, why didn't you ride it while awaiting parts? It would have been just like a bike with no ABS.

I rode it for the past 2 months with the ABS light on, it was on the night I took delivery. I finally got around to dropping it off a few weeks ago before we go on a big road trip next week. Supposedly the dealer had the bike torn apart in alot of pieces while waiting on the module, which is fine. If they couldn't have it ready by Friday I told them to put it back together. I will be finding a new dealer for warranty work if its needed in the future.
Hope my dealer don't tell me this is normal when take it in Today .. The sensor itself has broken.. Although never got a light or any warning that it had broke may have been this way for a week .. Discovered it yesterday when cleaning the wheel ..
