Default Long ride shields

Just a note to say thank you. i sent an email to Long ride shields, with an enclosed pic, about a crack in a shield that I had. He emailed me back with in 1 hour, said that he looked at the pic, packaged up a new shield and sent it to me. You could never ask for any better service than that! thank you and you can bet i will only run thier shields on all bikes from now on.

Good to hear. I bought a shield from Clearview. The day before they sent it they called and said it had a minor scratch and offered to take a little off the cost if I took it. I agreed and the scratch was nothing, polished right out. Problem is about two months later I developed spider cracking around one bolt hole. They said they would cover it but since it is a "blem" they only credited 50% back. I suppose I could accept that but I have to ship the old shield back to them (and they do pay the shipping). So, if I have to pay retail for the new shield, only get 50% credit against the new shield and have to pay the shipper for a box for the old shield, it will equate to the cost of a new shield from Long Ride and I can have it here in a couple of days. Seems like I should change vendors cause the return is more trouble than its worth? comments.

I talked to Mark from Clearview and he has agreed to take care of me. Some mixup in the accounting but he said I will get a new shield. So. A+ to Clearview on customer followup.

I just installed my new Ultra light tint. Windshield works great and customer service was excellent. Only problem is the windshield squeaks? Sounds like a damn cricket going down the road! I took an old business card out of my wallet and slipped it inbetween the inner fairing and windshield and it helped some. I guess I nee some sort of foam strip inbetween there!
