The guages on my 04 EG are fogging up, particularly ythe gas and temp guages. Does anyone else have this happening and any tips to stop it?

That is part of life on the fuel guage. It happens everytime I wash my bike or roll it out of the garage and take off on a cool morning. Maybe they should have put in a humidity gauge for under the fairing instead of a tempature guage? At least it would have been useful????

Happens to all of us. I think it was a conspiracy...the moco made a good engine that lasted so they had to think of something else so as soon as you see rust in your guage you would be compelled to buy a new Harley.

That hasn't happened to me yet, even when washing the bike. But then, I live in Arizona, where even my pee evaporates before it hits the toilet bowl!

My 05 Electra Glide Classic had this problem, with the fuel gauge and to a lesser extent, the oil pressure guage. Harley doesn't warranty for this as long as the guages function. Mine would fog up for several miles on cold or damp mornings and then clear up. So far my 06 Ultra hasn't done this since May and 8,000 miles. Got my fingers crossed.

same here, I really DONOT understand why they permit this problem to go on, you & I both know Harley people read comments on this forum on a daily basis, it really makes the whole over all look of the bike look like sh*t, and I would not be supraised if this did not turn off perspective buyers when they see it. HARLEY have your current vendor FIX THIS problem, or get a new vendor.
