After i swapped out my fairing this week now my gas gauge reads way off and resonds reel slow also the low fuel light comes on even after filling the tank and the air temp gauge goes straight to 120+ pegs out
Okay, no wiseazz remarks from me; but, have you tried swapping the gauge connectors between the gas and air temp gauges??? in the off chance that you connected the air temp connector to the fuel gauge, and the fuel gauge connector to the air temp gauge???
If you have a multimeter, check to ensure you have a good ground. You can also check the main harness plug 2b to ensure it is seated good. I feel quite certain you have a ground problem. Also, I would connect all electrical connections, lights, turn signals etc. before reading ground at the gauges. The ground travels through all these componets. The main chassis ground is on the upper triple clamp according to the service manual. Not sure where that is at though. Hope this helps
ARE YOU SURE THE GAUGES ARE ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FAIRING?
Not trying to be a smartass I just did the same thing but caught it before I
put it back together.
