What is the difference (?) between Rinehart Classic Duals 3.5" or 4" Mufflers OR Rinehart Xtreme True Dual Black Ceramic / 3.5" or 4" Mufflers
The Classic is the old style.... Front jug header goes down and on the right side....
back jug header goes out on the Left to the left side. The new Extreme, both exit the
jugs to the right and the front jug goes all to the right side and the back jug goes under
the bike and exits to the left side......... mufflers are either 3 1/2 in or 4 in. your choice...............hdman
The X-treme duals are (no offense to anyone running them) kinda goofy looking with all the crossing headpipes on the right side. The classic duals are much cleaner looking. As far as performance goes, I suuppose the X-treme duals should be easier to tune, with less of a difference in header length.
according to rinehart the 3 1/2 and 4 have the same DB rating except the 4 are a deeper tone but the 3 1/2 will give you better low end then 4 due to better backpressure
I considered going from 3 1/2 to 4 but cant justify 1/2 inch for $600 for less low end
