The H/D kit makes the rear turn signals aux. brake lights. I don't think it makes them run&brake. The Kuryakyn makes the rear blinkers run/brake/turns.

Yes both kits will plug right in under the seat and both will make your 1156 single filiment bulb burn all the time and get brighter when you apply the brakes, the kury kit will also give you the option of a flash brake feature.

One approach would be to purchase two light sockets for the front running/turn light that are for the dual filament bulb and install them in the rear. It's not too difficult of a job, just involves some simple wiring.
