Default Using touch up paint

I need to touch up a chip with some Sedona orange touch up paint. I got this two pack setup with the orange and a clear coat touch up. So just touch up with the orange and then apply clear coat?? I assume let the orange dry and then dab some clear coat? I've only done the vivid black before. Anything other to watch out for? Thanks

That is what I would do. It probably won't match up perfectly. You could lightly sand the orange after it dries, then apply the clear coat and buff that. But doing that is likely to make a bigger mess out of it. I would keep it simple, even though it is not perfect, it could get a lot worse if you mess with it too much.

Mask the area around the chip, apply very light coats of paint and let it build up until slightly higher than the masking tape.
Then wet sand as gently as possible until paint is no longer shiny. Apply clear coat to bring back shine. Leave for a couple of days to completely harden, apply a good wax coat and job done!
