if it bugs you unplug it.. you obviously won't have a neutral light but you also won't have a flickering light..

Check your lower transmission bolts that secure the exhaust hanger, mine were loose and allowed the gearset to walk enough to tweak the neutral switch.

Check the pin connectors on the switch, I looked at mine last winter and they had green corrosion built up, I cleaned them out and put dielectric grease on them. Mine also did the same as yours when bike was new, as someone said just replace the switch, quick and easy.

bagman and potato are right: it could be as simple as cleaning the wire connection!

My '07 FLHTC (92K miles and counting) starts acting the same way after a recent wash.

The green "N" and red "key" light up while the bike is running down the highway.

After searching this forum, I locate the switch, give the wires a quick jiggle...PRESTO!

A big thanks to all who posted. Saved me some $$$ and a lot of frustration.
