Gotta love eglidegoodies. The only place in the world who can sell a $4.00 pill fob as an earplug container for $14.99...LOL.

Just an FYI, I have a 2011 Ultra and the 4 plastic buttons that old flap snaps go on are a PITA to remove. They would not pull out and I couldnt get cutters behind the to cut them. I just pulled like hell and every single one broke off. It was the only way I could remove them, but after all is said and done the new flaps are great.

Default Normally don't get this worked up about the small stuff, but ....

I HATE THOSE PLASTIC SNAP COVERS ON MY LOWERS! Whoever designed them should be publicly reprimanded and from this day forward banned from the H-D design team. I will be ordering a set of the magnetic ones pronto! Thanks for the post!

I had them before too, and should have kept them from my last bike. Now they come in two different hinge-styles and a non-hinged style. (Harley only offers the bottom-hinged.) I like the flush-mount door but have never seen the bottom-hinged, so maybe those would work. eGlideGoodies also makes a non-hinged version that starts at only $99.

I like that Harley is offering a less expensive alternative, though it seems that $50 for the kit is a lot. DIY's probably make the same thing for under $5.

Guess I need to see the non-hinged and the Quick Flap Magnetic Doors in person to make a decision, as closing the snaps are a PITA.

The OP did give the Harley part number, about 2 or 3 clicks later I had the product page and a pic.

Thanks, I saw that. I get the idea of the flap opened, but was hoping someone would post a picture that showed the flap opened up further and maybe the bottom mounting. I checked with the dealer and they have a kit in stock, but not one mounted on a showroom bike.
