Default 2007 Frame Stabilizer

Hey Guys,

I have a '07 FLT that has the known "Harley Davidson Death Wobble." Lately it seems that is has been getting worse or maybe I am just notcing it more.

I have seen a TON of stabilizer kits on the market and even listed here.
Has anyone use one of these?
What was the outcome?
Was it worth the money?

I B Da Monk

I run the TWR Missing Link on my 08. I'm happy with it. You can also check out the Glide Pro system which seems to be a pretty good setup. Make sure the neck bearings are adjusted properly, bearings and tires are good, etc. as well.

These things are upgrades to enhance ride quality, so as dawg suggests, make sure everything else on your bike is in top shape, especially your tyres.

There are at least a dozen brands of 'stabilizers', but I run a True-Track kit and it is original and best!

I put the Progressive link on my 07. It works! Some of the best money I spent on the bike.

Big +1 here. I put the Progressive on my '00 a few weeks ago and it's a different bike. I'm still thrilled with how much better it handles.
I'm still interested in the Glide Pro system too.

Like Dawg and grbrown said, make sure everything else is ok first, then pick one and throw it on.

Like Dawg, I've had a TWR Missing Link on my '07 since shortly after I got the bike. ALL pre '09 frame bikes NEED a stabilizer. It's one of the two best improvements I've made to the bike. They all do the same thing, so I suggest you look at all of 'em with an eye toward cost & ease of installation.

Check out bagger brace. I had the progressive suspension link. With the bagger brace, there was less engine vibration. I think it has something to do with the length of the link being equal with the other engine mount links on the bagger brace. The price is reasonable, the quality and performance was top notch.

Throttle up here, I am very happy with it and I can't imagine anyone having a product that does much better for the price.
