Now what's your impression of it? Sounds like most guys claim a noticeable improvement. I'm not bothered by buffeting much, but what the heck it might be something I didn't even realize would be an improvement so for $27 how can you go wrong?

Also I'm wondering if this baffle deflects air to the front cylinder in a way that improves cooling? Can anyone chime in on that angle?

Thanks guys!
Yes, it does direct air down to the front cylinder, but the parts manual states to remove it during hot weather, to help evacuate hot air from under the tank, to help cool....not the engine, but the rider !

I leave mine on year around. Without it, my beard and mustache tails blow straight up at highway speed.

Being in the wind is different than the buffeting some of us get riding behind bat wings and road glide fairings. My glasses used to bounce on my nose until I found the right combination of windshield height, fork baffle, fork deflectors, etc. Putting on a set of Freedom Wings really helped, as you can adjust the air flow coming around the side of the bat wing, and on hot days, you can direct it right at you and the engine to help cool both.

It's the same as the stock one that comes on Road Glides. Or, at least used to come on them.

Holster and pistol, dang papers for the gun are in the holster, im afraid to try and get them out cause i know they'll fall apart. Pm me if you can tell me more about this luger. I noticed the difference in the winter as I was trying to plug up as many drafts as I could.

Glad I didn't order one thinking it was going to do a better job than my stock one then. Thanks.

At the end of the day...it's a bike and there's supposed to be wind, especially with our air cooled machines. Think it would be kinda boring without it. Kinda like a Goldwing experience. Although at some point I might consider picking up an old used Winger for a couple grand just for diversity.
That's correct, I have the best of both worlds, a cruiser when the weather is nice and then big Goldie when I expect wind and rain. Can't really say there is wind of any kind when on the tuperware scoot. Like riding a BBQ on hot days however, that's when the RK really is appreciated.
