Beg to differ-took an upclose and personal lookat the Switch back and to be honest it's trying too hard to look like a Road King. It's 100 pounds lighter and lower to the ground-if that's what you want.

My "standard" RK has cruise. And I don't have to clean white walls.

Let's be real. How many of you RK owners are 22? How many of you are young enough to even remember when you were 22? As a happy 56 year old RKC owner I can't think of a bike I'd like any more...AT MY AGE! Yes it's an old man's bike. Buy something cool looking, like one of the "dark customs", while you're still young enough to ride it comfortably. You've got plenty of time to ride an "old man's bike" later.

I really want to see how I feel on a Heritage Soft-tail. That was my original choice before I sat on bikes.

Like I said, I'm thinking RKC now because it's one of two bikes that feels good when I'm griping the bars. I know the bars are adjustable but I don't know if they let you do that in store.

I'm NOT going to buy a bike that I don't feel comfortable on just because I'm 22 years old and the RKC is a touring.

If I could get the fit I get on the RKC on a Fat Boy or Heritage, that's what I'd go with.

Do you think they'll let me adjust the bars in store?

I believe you can get cruise installed at the dealer, just comes standard on the classic. (no pun intended...lol)
I love my whitewalls....they're easy to clean.

Easy.... Us young guns can make a RKC look cool. It does not have to be an "old man" bike. For the record I am 30.

No, I don't think they are going to let you, or even their own mechanic, adjust the bars on the showroom floor. Too much chance of something slipping and then you have a ding, chip, scratch, in the tank or elsewhere. When they changed my bars, they had covers all over the bike.
