I have a 2005 FLHTCI (Electra Glide Classic). It has just over 11 k on it. I developed a leak that seemed to be an outer primary leak. I had an OEM outer primary gasket put in and it still leaked. The shop then put a James Gasket in and it STILL leaking!!!!!!! I need some help on this one. Any ideas where else this leak may be coming from. It's dripping off the lowest outer primary bolt! HELP! Thanks, Dave.
use drugstore foot powder to find the leak- spray the area, it'll wash away at the source.
other leaks things, overtight drive belt and primary chain can cause leak problems ( and bearings too.
bikes that sit alot may have seals/gaskets dry out.
when used more the seals/gaskets may 'swell" and reseal
My starter was leaking. It would leak on top of the case, and when I put it on the side stand, it would run down and create a puddle. I had it apart several times trying to fix it. I finally bought a used starter, and that fixed it.

try to pinpoint the source first

+1 11K on an 05, seems the bike does a lot of sitting.
You have a "professsional shop" replacing gaskets without really investigating the cause? They're not supposed to guess.
Try to pinpoint the source yourself, then find a competent shop to repair what needs repaired. If it's under the primary, under the clutch cover, you're looking at the drain plug, tranny seal, inner prinary bearing seal, starter seal etc. With a little care and time, you'll find it.
If your using a gear oil in your tranny, smell the oil, it will have a distinct smell to it.
If it is tranny oil, you'll have to pull the inner primary, and while your in there, change all the seals, and gaskets.
A common leak is the shifter shaft seal, and it will drip off the lowest point of the primary, but it is actually running down the back of the inner primary to that point. Get a mirror and flashlight to see where it is coming from.
If it is actually the outer primary leaking after a couple of gasket changes, I would suspect a warped part.

That's what happened to me at around 38k miles on my 2006.
I use Redline in the tranny so the color gave it away. Seems to be fairly common problem. Dripped exactly where the OP stated.
how about checking the primary drain plug. sounds like it's in the general area you are describing. some folks have an o ring on the plug, I don't on mine, but the o ring can't hurt.
