Default intercom

Picked up an 2010 ultra classic with 1454 miles last saturday. We are having trouble with the rear intercom. I have tried 4 different headsets with the same problem therefore I feel it has to do with the bike. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes, what is the problem? No audio under certain conditions? No audio ever? Do other functions work...can she hear the radio...can she hear you on the intercom but you cannot hear her?...can you hear her but she cannot hear you?
Trace the wiring harness to ensure that there has been no crushing of the wires that might be causing an issue. Hook up a headset and wiggle the harness to see if you can get it to work intermittently. If so, then you need to find the problem wire(s).
Anyway, be more specific about the particular problem if you can.

When you have the intercom set to on and still in intercom mode on the radio did you try to adjust the volume? Does the headset work for the radio?

have you checked the speaker control switch? i believe it has to be rearward for those to work.

I guess since you gave us no clues we can start at the beginning.... Is the bike ignition switch ON?

The volume is set correctly. All incoming into helmet works perfectly. The problem is the outbound speech from the passenger helmet. I have tried 4 different headsets with the same result.

Is the VOX set properly? Can the back seater, while using the headset.....push the 'push-to-talk' switch and be heard?
