I just bought adjustable passsenger pegs, and Tour Tech Short Arm mounts with Large ISO pegs for me. One of the adjustables arms loosened up right away. I removed and blue threadlocked it. If it loosens up again they said just return it.
The tour tech mounts were made in Korea. I believe the Harleys were made in China, but I am not sure. I'll be evaluating these with a cynical eye.
Does anyone know of an aftermarket company that makes chrome accessories in the USA?
But you're ok with the "Jap Crap" on your bike that comes from the MOCO? Everyone is "outsourcing" these days .... doesn't make it right but .... what can ya do?
I've never had a problem with any of the stuff I've bought from them and everything is long out of warranty. Hopefully their quality isn't starting to take a dive.....along with their customer service....
Well I can tell you the moco wouldn't replace them either as I had a similar problem with a lens on Fatboy I didn't expect them to just asked when I went in. Secondly as far as Kuryakyn stuff my other half has a street bob that she got with iso grips on it when she bought it and is allergic to them. When she rides with them the palms of her hands break out in blisters it took us a couple weeks to figure out what was causing the problems. I told her she should call Kuryakyn and ask if they had ever had an issue before and they had not, they did offer to send another pair of grips at no cost to us but advised that all their grips us all the same rubber. So i am taking the iso's off and getting some moco grips as I know she doesn't have issues with them. So I guess my point is that Kuryakyn had over all good customer service with our experience.
Baught a set of LED turng signals at Sturgis last year and got home and found one of the front's didnt blink. Called them and three days later I received a new set for the front free of charge. asked if they wanted me to send the old ones back, they said no ! If you ask me that's customer service..
