Default Did I screw the pooch?

I have a 2010 Ultra Classic and hate the gaudy front fender and wheel...so I bought a front fender and wheel from a 2011 Street Glide and l honestly believed that the wheels were the same size just different spoke pattern...I received my items today and love them however I noticed that the tire on the new wheel is a 130/70-18 while the stock tire on my Ultra is a 130/80-17 ... Will the new wheel/tire and fender still work or did I screw the pooch?

I believe the overall diameter is the very close on those 2 tires, 25.20" for the 17" and 25.32" for the 18" so the diff that the fender sees is .06" , close enough for you? Obviously the tires cannot be used on the wrong sized wheels.

The 2009 SG had a 17" front wheel. It was bumped up to 18 in 2010. It will be fine as far as fit to the fender, your just gonna need a new tire obviously.

Thanks guys for your prompt assistance...it is greatly appreciated. So your saying that the SG wheel and tire will bolt right on to my UC with out any issues. Fortunately the wheel came with a brand new tire already mounted. I think the only real concern I have left is the wheel bearings...how do I tell if the wheel bearings are for ABS brakes or not and are the ABS bearings the same between the SG and the UC?

I believe the ABS bearings have a gray stripe or something on them? Sorry I cant answer that more definitively.

Should bolt right up, the UC and SG are the same, far as that goes, and as far as the ABS bearings are concerned.

you actually made out like a bandit. the 18'' wheel is a lot better looking than the 17'' imo. and you got the tire too.
