2012 RG Frustration
So I leave today for a ride with my buddy and about 2 miles down the road my engine light comes on and the bike starts spitting and sputtering like I am out of gas or has water in the gas (First tank of gas, only have 185 miles on the bike). I was getting low on fuel so I limped it to the gas station and fuel up with good gas. Nope not the problem. I tried to ride through it but it just wouldn't stop the problem. So, long story short I am gonna limp it to the local dealer who is graciously gonna work me in this afternoon. I will let you know what they find out. Bryan

I bet it will be the Throttle position sensor, just have to reset it. Had the same issue with my 2011 RGU

Yep it is throwing a throttle issue code. Was so bad the bike put itself in a shut down protection code so I had limited power and usability. The service guys are gonna be all over it tomorrow and hopefully I will get it back Saturday. Oh well I work tomorrow anyhow. Thanks for the heads up on the throttle sensor guys! Bryan
