I am thinking about going from stock to 10" monkey bars. I have read a lot about not having to change cables is I go with the 10". I have also heard what a pain it is to un the cables through the bars.
My question is, if I did not want to run the cables through the bars would I gain more slack in the cables? Is there an advantage from running the cables through the bars, besides the cleaner look?

im speaking based on experiance with monkey bars only...i bought a set and the weld on the right side broke...yea, unbelievable right! anyway, i switched to bars called big fatty's from thug custom cycles in Plantation, FL. www.thugcustomcycles.com tommy is the owner, he makes them in house 1 set at a time and they are bad *** nice lines, nice curve, nice pullback and 1.5" instead of yaffes 1.25", easy to wire and just good quality. check em out. you wont be disapointed.
