My 2011 I could not find Neutral with it running until about 1000 miles and them it loosend up and no problem, sometimes its also the clutch adjustment and at the 1000 mile service they a adjust and the problem is gone.

I shift with the soles of my shoes anyway, and never had a problem finding neutral with my heel, when I'm stopped. Got my 103 Ltd Ultra in June. Never even heard of this before, but sounds like it's pretty common. Try it with your heel, when you're stopped.

Had the same thing on my 2010. I was amazed at how touchy the shifter was new. As others had mentioned, after my 1K service, it was significantly better.

Yup, like others have said,on my 2010 RK it was tough to get to neutral when the bike was new. But after the 1K service, it was much easier. The only thing I wanted to add is, at the 1K service, I switched the oil out to synthetic and that seemed to cure a lot of things. The bike seemd to be a little quieter, little pings and rattles went away. The tranny shifted much better, and neutral was easy to pop into while idling.

I had the 1000 mile service, switched to synthetic, and now have 1400 miles on the bike. Neutral is somewhat easier to find, but still a challenge sometimes. I have better luck rocking the bike forwards and backwards a little bit while trying to find neutral.

Yep. I thought I was gonna wear it out when I first got it, shifting from 1st to 2nd so many times trying to find Neutral. It has gotten easier. Don't know if it's getting broken in, or I am.

After 10,000 miles of riding my bike, I can finally hit neutral 6 out of 10 trys.

Very stiff when new. It gets better.

Interesting! I was always able to find neutral with no issues from when my 2010 RK was new. Guess I got lucky.

Got 20,000 miles on my 2010 road glide and it is still tough to find neutral.
