Default What a difference...

I was having some cold running issues since the weather has turned off cold. So I had my dealer change the 8 degree injectors to the 25 degree. They told me that it would also need a download to the computer. I told them to go ahead and dyno tune the V&H fuel pack while they were at it. I could not believe how much more power the bike has now. I don't know what made the difference, maybe all of it together, but man am I happy with it.

I would not have known about the injectors had in not been for this forum. Lots of good info on here.

Curious...just how, do ya "dyno tune a fuelpak" AND did you pay the dealer for a download and a dyno tune?

I'm not familier with the other fuel packs but the V& H fuel pack has settings for the different RPM ranges. Initally, when you install the pack, the manual that comes with it has settings to enter depending on what is on your bike; in my case I have a stage 1 air cleaner, V&H tru duals with basic slip-ons. It has settings for all kinds of combinations. Then the numbers can be changed in a certain RPM range to richen or lean it out if necessary in that area. I asked the service advisor if they changed any of the settings, he just looked at the ticket and said he must have because the tech wrote on the ticket "tuned fuel pack". They were busy and I had to go somewhere else so I didn't push the issue. Bottom line is what ever they did made a difference.
