My Tour Pak currently has no lights installed, and I like it that way. But here in Italy I am thinking it would be best to add some. If I do, I will probably get the ones that go along the sides. Do these lights double as brake & blinker and are they easy to install?
I added on the color matched spoiler with the run/brake light in it. It really adds visibility. I left the chrome on the side of the pak, but did add the saddlebag lighted latches. They operate as run lights and turn signals. Also when I remove the tour pak I still have extra visibility with the lights. I like to be seen. Oh, and I have led running lights at the rear bottom of the saddlebags.
the tour pak side lights are just running lights, they work well, and wrap around slightly for a little more light to the rear.
installation is just a couple of screws to take off the chrome strips, and then adding the lights--- can't remember if i had to drill a hole for the wires to pass through to the interior of the T/P.
wiring comes with plug to tour pak harness.
consider also adding the airwing tourpak rack and the additional led kit, which has run and brake function--- works very well.
