Congrats!!! That is an awesome color combo. I have seen Midnight Pearl in person and it is a very unique color. Looks black to you get up on it then it just pops.
I was never big on White but man that is one nice combo , really nice.....thanks for the pictures and the Cat info......I know many of us sit on a fence with the stupid thing and want it out.
I have around 1200 miles on it now and I LOVE it. It now has Vance and Hines Oval slip on's and a PCV Tuner with a Fuel Moto Map, and a SE Stage 1 AC. No heat, nice sound and it has plenty of power too.
If your on the Fence about removing the Cat, just do it and you won't be sorry. Even if you just do that, and nothing else, it will run just fine. The "Stock" Slip Ons will even sound decent too.
Beautiful, gorgeous, cool, nice, looking good, excellent color choice! From what I read from you it looks like you did just "enough" - smart! I am REALLY liking the looks of those ovals on our bikes too!!
I'm wondering how much louder a cat removal makes the pipes. I like a bit of rumble but don't want to have to wear earplugs or not be able to listen to my tunes.
It's a nice "Little" rumble, not loud at all. It makes it not sound like a Honda anymore, but not near as loud as the Vance and Hines Ovals I have on there now. The Heat is GONE, sounds better, runs better, and more power too. The ECM compensates for it just fine. I kept an eye on my spark plugs, and they looked fine, until I added the SE AC, and VH Slip On's and the PCV Tuner.
