Just want to know if anyone has had or heard of any bad reviews about the Kuryakyn : The Perfect Storm, which is there True Duals,Crusher Mufflers, High Five air cleaner and ther TTS Mastertune. I have read all kinds of good reviews, but just looking to see if anyone here has heard any bad reviews.
No more Kury products for Me. Was dissapointed in Thier ISO grips for My 08 Ultra. The fit was very sloppy on the throttle side. Had to cut off the clutch side grip. Could'nt return them because of this. No More! Kury said it's grips were like this because they were made to fit on different bikes.
As far as exhaust is concerned I would never buy it from Kury. But that's just me. there are plenty of companies that make only exhaust and put a lot more research and development into their products. The only Kury thing I have ever had on my bike are the ISO grips. Still on for now until I find something better. Yup, sloppy throttle like the other guy too.

The ISO grips are comfy but expensive and not very well made.
I have found that a set of $10 Grip Puppies is way more comfortable and looks just fine, though they aren't flashy.

If it's the TTS turner that you are after. I would rather go with the Fulsacs set up. Another great choice of the forum members would be Fuel Moto. You really can't go wrong with either one.
OK...so I'm that guy that gave them a shot because of a great deal at Daytona. Well you get what you pay for. Everything coming off over time. Fuelpak replaced by PCV with Autotune last year, Kury headers being replaced at Octoberfest this year with Rush ceramic coated headers. Still deciding on what slip ons to buy to replace the Crushers. High 5 air cleaner losing its chrome after 2 seasons. Will be looking for something open that can handle the upcoming engine upgrade to 107...Woods Performance seems to have some of the highest cfm that I've been able to research.
Not telling you not to buy someone's products, but that was my experience.

1st off The perfect storm is made by Vance and hines. I read and saw te evidence of this on this site. If you ask someone in the know on here they will point it out with photos.
Secondly, dont waste your money on kury. There many more quality exhaust and aftermarket parts suppliers on this site and many people will tell what they use. My advice is do your homework and save your money for the best stuff you can afford. The perfect storm does use the TTS masterune and I have heard good things about that, but their exhuast is not worth it, they are second designs from another company. I will give my two cents and you can research what you like.
1. Thundermax ($1000) from zippers it is expensive, but it is well worth it.
2. Jackpot ceramic coated Headers ($800 or so), again, a little more cause of the coating on the inside of the stainless steel headers, but they are really the best around; however there are other compaines out there that offer this option for headers.
3. A really good pair of slip-ons($500, I got a deal), research this one well!! You can get ones that are too loud or not loud enough. what is good for others maybe not good for you. best to go to your local bike night and hear what you like and ask. I went with Klock werks long straight cut 4'' rounds. Great rumble and quiet down around when the bike is at 3-3500 rpm but if you want it to bark, they bark.
4. Woods cams and pushrod kit from fuel moto ($800), they also make the jackpot headers I metioned. The 103 really woke up and sixth gear is a whole new experience.
5. High flow air (all together $200). I went with SE from HD with the 103 #1 skull cover. It looks like the arlen ness big sucker, but it is HD. I have heard the quality of the Arlen Ness stuff has really gone down hill. I am now thinking about going with RSD or Doherty, but I am still very happy with the SE.
My prices are close I dont remember the exact prices but the above turned my limited into a monstaH!!!!!
I too was looking at the Perfect storm, but after a good amount of time, which is hard when you got the wants for your bike, I said no way!!! Good luck.
