I use a GPS as a 'cheat' to help things along.

Just got back from Faaker, the roads in Austria and Tyrol are much better.

Sardinia was also quite good, just dont go during tourist season.

Cool. I used to live in Comiso. Be sure to ride down to Marina DiRagusa and the beaches. Incredible times in the summer.

Never ridden in Italy, but I've driven there & I gotta say--those drivers are wacked!! There are no traffic laws;only traffic "suggestions".

Only bad thing that happened was I almost drowned--got into a street fight in Venice!

By the way, I love your Road King Custom. I had the same bike up until March when I traded her in for my Street Glide. Love my glide, but wish I
kept the King. So much cheaper.
I ride quite a bit on the continent and there are some amazing rides. If you want to get up to Germany, GrossGlockner is obligatory!

I just left Naples after about 3 years, just licensed my bike yesterday. The riding is great!! As mentioned above, do the Amalfi Coast, is is great fun, but be careful, roads are slick and narrow. Get up to Naples, there is a great riding group up there. Most of them are at Bike Week right now (Faaker See, Austria). Enjoy and be safe!!

If I remember correctly, I was talking to you a while back when I was waiting to come out here. Is that correct? I will get to Naples eventually, but I want to do some good Island riding first.
