Most of my cronies are already down there or are leaving tomorrow morning. I can't get off work until Thursday so I am leaving sometime Thursday morning from York, PA. I would like to hook up with someone if they wouldn't mind as opposed to riding by myself. I guess just send a pm if you want another rider in the group, cause they always look better with more people.
A couple of us riding down Thursday and staying till Sunday. Staying in Bethany beach this year. Looks like we may get wet riding there on Thursday. Wives are coming later in the day in the Jeep with the "supplies". We are leaving from Elkton Maryland around 930am Thursday morning.
Going in 5 minutes. It is a great time there. I only live about an hour away so I am lucky. Dead freedies is a good spot to hit as is the bearded clam bar.
OC harley was also owned by Seaford harley and shut there doors do the the wonderful ecomony we have. Atleast that is what Seaford HD told me yesterday as the put on my $330.00 tire---OUCH!!!!!
Going down Wednesday. Staying at Frontiertown. The main vendors locations are at Perdue Stadium and Winter park, same as last year and winter park the past few years. But, OC is full of vendors from just over the West side of the Rt 50 Bridge at Hoopers Crab House and across the bridge all the way up Coastal highway to the Rt 90 bridge and beyond.
Frontiertown is a real nice spot. Friends had a motorhome there on the water last year and dead freedies is not to far....
Had a great time today! Drove up as it was pouring at home this morning, rain all the way, walked both sites, not a drop of water, got in the Jeep to come home, poured all the way back. Got a killer price on some wheels from Brian at Eastern Performance, love those guys! Gotts to decide whether to buy Monday or not, didn't wanna pay Maryland sales tax and they didn't have my size at the show..Good vendors, great food and folks and some nice scoots.....I'll be there next year for a few days this time!
