Looking for some options for a friend with a 2006 FLHXI Street Glide ... he wants a deeper sound from his pipes with less flow restriction to improve performance ....
He's looking for a traditional look ... I've seen the Bassani Part# 11117A Chrome 3-1/2" Straight Cut and thought they might be a good option for him ... I think a pretty reasonable price, as well ....
I looked on Youtube to see if there is a video ... couldn't really find 'em ... saw some 3-1/2" Python and some Cycle Shack slip ons ....
Anyone have recommendation ... also appreciate pointing me in the direction of video clips ....
have him go to a bike night or hang out at a busy dealer parking lot, look, listen and ask till he sees and hears what he likes.
He frequents Witt's H-D in Manassas VA and occasional visits to Patriot in Fairfax, East Coast in Dumfries, and Hoss Waugh's in Orange VA ... not the kind of guy who just hangs around scoping out the mufflers ....
He sports SE slip ons on his '96 Heritage ... I just think there are enough options on the aftermarket that are probably better than the current SE slip ons ... seem like they are all 50-state Cali/EPA compliant ....

Anyone using the V&H Monster Rounds ...?
