It does not pop out all the way when you push it in to heat up, wouldn't want it to fly out if you are trying to use it going down the road.

It's the auto wave back switch. New on 2012 models so you don't crash while waving at other riders.

I had to hold mine in when I got the bike. If you take a pick and go in the socket you can bend the tabs inward a little and it will hold itself. Be sure the socket isn't powered (DUH) when you do it. If you plug some chargers in it will bend them back and not hold again.

Yeah, its tight so you dont lose it while cruising down the road.

So tight in fact, that Mine popped out 3 times, couldnt find it on the last time.

Btw,, smoke free for the last two weeks, so dont need it.
