here's a good replacement for the plug since ya gave up the ciggy's beings everything theses day's is USB, it sets flush with the socket no worries on it hitting your tank, i use one for my phone to recharge http://www.amazon.com/Powerjolt-Dual.../dp/B0042B9U8Q

Stick with it, it's tough but it can be done. I smoked for years and gave it up about 5 years ago cold turkey. Just decided it was time. Best of luck to you
