Default Fairing switch

Ok. Bonehead move I know. Flame at will.
Just finished painting inner fairing. I was careful to put wires back on the spot light switch and "the one on the other side" to avoid any problems.

So the spot switch is fine, the one on the left not so much. Wires are all off of the switch.
Can't find my dang owners manual nor can I find the bugger on the wiring diagram in the service manual.

What does it even do? Ties into the anti-dive manifold?
Can't place this on the wiring diagram at all.
Help.

Is that the emergency flasher switch? I have 2 switches next to each other on the right side, spots and flasher.

My 'other' switch turns on the fender lights. Is that any help?! I swapped mine round so I can switch the spots/passing lamps with my left hand, rather than taking my hand off the throttle.

We're dancing around each other here! On my 1990 the flashers work by pressing both indicator switches - they use the same module to control both.

Oh, well, I don't have a flasher "module." I have two old-tymie flasher breaker thingies. One for the turn signals and a separate one for the 4 way flasher.

Just checked my parts book, the module thingy was introduced in '87. It also serves as an automatical cancelling device, long ago disabled by me as it turns the indicators off as soon as you take your eye off them!
