Is there a way to tell if a mod has been done.
Hello,
I have a 98 roadking I bought off someone a month ago.I love the bike and was considering a new air breather when I realized ,mabe it's allready has been done.He did'nt mentoin it but he changed the pipes so mabe the stage 1 has allready been done.Is there anyway to tell? Thanks for your help.

the stock air cleaner has a plastic backing plate to which the round chrome cover is sealed all the way around.
if carbed, if the plug over the idle adjust screw is removed, then it is likely the carb has been tuned, perhaps moddeded
