Default new street glide questions

I just picked up a 2011 Street Glide (traded my 02 RK) i have a 8.5 klock werks windshield and i am thinking of adding a windshield bag, do i go with the Harley 3bag or the tbag one? I also need to get a backrest for the passenger, i think i am going with the 4 point docking system, The bike is vivid black and i think i will go with the black while the dealer is going to give me 20%. i also have the harley goodies floorboard extensionson the way.. Any other "must do's??
Thanks Kevin

How much $ do you want to spend? Let me know what you're lookin' for, like the sissy bar for example with the back rest pad/quick release system, as I got it. I got a bunch of other stuff too that you might be interested in.

You don't need the 4 Point unless your going to add the luggage rack. Without the rack and with the 4 point, it just looks weird. "Must do's"... Everytime you ride it you'll come up with your own must do's... But other than exhaust, your significant other (passenger) will probably tell you how much they hate the seat. Lot of reviews/opinions/suggestions on here so good luck.

Stick with the 4 point system as the more u ride u will probably end up getting a rear rack or a tourpack and it will mount using the 4 point. U can cover the black mounting points with chrome. Magnetic covers that look good and not out of place. Id also get a taller windshield and rear foot boards for the passenger.

In order for the windshield bags to fit properly, the inside of the windshield must be FLAT in the area from the top of the fairing and up 4 inches. IMHO, the T-Bags windshield bag offers the best value.

You definitely need a backrest/pad for your passenger. While you're at it, do your passenger a big favor and replace the stock seat with a HD Sundowner and replace the passenger foot pegs with HD passenger floorboards.

I agree that you ought to get the 4-point docking system. In the short term, a luggage rack will come in handy for those essentials that won't fit into the saddlebags. It also provides a mount for a tour pack, should you decide you need even more room in the future. The fender supports are chrome, so I think that a chrome 4-point docking system matches up better.

Harley Goodies Extensions a great move. Your legs and feet will appreciate that extra inch of wiggle room.

Take those passenger foot peg take-offs and buy a set of HD 360 mounts and you'll have a nice set of highway pegs.

Congrats on the new SG. You're going to love it!

Thanks guys for the input so far, just trying to make the right choices the first time around. I may eventually get a tourpack so thats why i was thinking the 4 point docking kit. I am going to start buying things over the winter months so my wife can ride with me next year as i don't think i am ready to do that quite yet.

I had the Klock Werks 8.5 windshield and T-Bags three bag setup. They will fit together, but the outer curves of the windshield make getting into the outer pouches hard and it deforms the bag support. I've since gone back to the stock windshield and looking to buy the Harley three bag setup as the outer bags seem to be more usable.

I have the 8.5" Klock Werks on my 2012 SG, but hadda cut the ws down an inch off the bottom to reduce overall height a little. Having done that, the T-Bags ws bag will only fit if it is forced and I choose not to that. Mine just came yesterday so as of now its surplus to my needs. PM me if interested.
