I don't believe he's reached the end of his cable like yours.
I think maybe his aviator has got you reading off track.

LOL..............hard to tell what the actual topic of this post is.

I didn't reach the end of my cable, it's just coming apart so I'm afraid it's going to get water in and start to rust and corrode.

$64 for a new cable from Barnett for my bike, probably going to go that route to avoid any headaches.

sounds like rotor is fine for a while you should check nominal new dimension before you throw your money away

Yeah, the rotor is on the back burner. It's worn but still within spec and will be fine for another couple of years.
The clutch cable is my focus now, getting the +4" length will get the extra length I need for the 575 bars with the cable run in the stock configuration.
