2003 Road Glide questions?

2003 Road Glide questions?
My buddy has an 03 RG he is selling (18,250 miles,EFI) and I am thinking if I can convince him to hook me up with a great deal I might pick it up. On the 03 bikes I am well aware of the cam chain tensioner issue. I ma unsure of the years of possible issues with the swing arms cracking. Can someone help me out? I have read up until 01 and 02.
The radio on this bike is not working although it has a J&M audio system in it. I kept telling him it was the ground and that the guy he had working on the bike was clueless although I do not know for sure.
It has Burly slammer shocks on the rear and the front. The rear shocks will have to go for sure in favor of a more smooth riding shock. I really don't care too much about ride height but want maximum ground clearance even though I am not that tall. I am not sure about the front either. I think some Race tech valving or intiminators will take care of that. I will have to talk to Howard at length.
The bike has 16" apes on it which I would put on regardless so that is a plus. What else have I not covered that could be a possible issue? I love the color which is the black and silver but it is not in impeccable condition. He wants an arm and a leg for it. 13K. I did the math and it seems that 10K is about a fair price considering. Let me know what you think.

there is no way I'll pay 13K for it. The bike was laid down and he redid it with the apes and some other stuff. I know all of it's history since he has owned it and he does not keep it clean like I would. RockyMtnRG, thanks, I checked out the ad. Nice ride! I am not stuck on 03 for any reason at all but your ride looks nice. I really like the fact it has a tour pack. Is it quick detach?
More miles than the other but I am sure much cleaner as well. Working on financing and waiting on the decision makers right now. It might work out, it might not. But, if it does come through I will most definitely contact you for more info.

The Tour-Pack is quick-detach. Let me know what you learn on the financing and good luck with the decision.
