2009 Street Glide Front Fender
Ripped some of the paint off the bottom of 2009 street glide front fender blue black ice paint . New fender or repaint ? Any suggestions? Any one have a Blue/Black ice fender for sale, a shot in the dark figured I would put out a cry for help. No damage on fender except paint on the bottom

paint defect????
I have a 09 road glide and about 3 weeks ago I had the same problem. A piece of paint came off the front fender on the right side in back. The piece of paint was about 2 inches long and its about 1/4 inch and goes down to a point. You could see how the paint is starting to blisster and more and more is coming off.
Is there any one else out that had the same problem???

Sounds like same problem I have with 09 Ultra. The paint was applied to bare metal (allegedly) and not on primer. I have to have both fenders stripped, primed and repainted. Harley Davidson knows about this issue and apparently refuses to repair under warranty/goodwill.

I have a 2009 FLHX and the paint all along the bottom blistered off, and had blisters on side of fender too. I brought it in last spring and HD covered it under goodwill, and my warranty was run out. Go in to dealer see what they say.
