FLH Fairings Brackets
I have seen other posts about replacing the inner fairing brackets. I decided to get the factory ( supposely updated) brackets. I would like to say you are better doing all 4 brackets and do not try and cut corners. It was not bad but you have to lossen all bolts on both sides and take the directionals completely down with the chrome plate behind them . The pain but not hard is the clutch side, why do they run the cable through the bracket? Just take your time and move the wiring harnesses in your way and it all goes well. I just hope these last . I have a 2000 FLHT with 66,000 miles . Hope this helps those who have been thinking of doing them themselves.

You should know by now that there is absolutely nothing easy about working on an HD. The simplest of jobs can turn into a cluster fu>k. There are so many things that will get in the way. It's absolutely absurd. But you are smart to upgrade to the new, improved brackets.
