Default TTS Mastertune

Hey folks, I bought a TTS Mastertune for my '08 Nightster that I just traded in for my 2012 Street Glide. I don't really have the coin right this second to drop on pipes and an air cleaner, but when the time comes, I'm wondering if they are compatible. I didn't even tune my Nightster because I traded it in before dicking with the tuning software. Can someone enlighten me to anything about it? Thank you!

Not real sure what the question is...are you saying the original purchase of the TTS was not used on the '08? And you want to use the TTS on the '12?

If so, the TTS (once you update all the programs on your computer) will work fine with the SG as long as you did not hook it up to the '08 and download anythng.

Hope that's what you're asking...

I did do a stock download on the Nightster to back up the files as thats all I could figure out how to do. I didn't actually change any of the settings, just connected the cable to save it to my laptop.
Does this tuner lock itself to the bike like most others?
I guess I could just hook it up and see what happens

Yes..the TTS marries itsself to the first bike you link it to and then can't be used on any other bike.

This.

Unfortunately it's married to the Nightster.

Give Master Tune a call. I believe they will work something out with you.

yup... "if" you connected the TTS to the Nightster, then you're SOL...
you need to buy a new TTS mastertune for the new bike.
