I got hit on my street glide about 5 weeks ago and the parts are finally in to get it all fixed back up. I'm getting a few other things done to it while it's in the shop and the waiting is killing me!! I'm getting the SE-255 Cams put in, a new Power Vision Tuner with Autotune from Fuelmoto and handlebar mount, and Boom Audio speakers to replace the damaged stock ones. Of course I'm also having all the broken stuff repaired and put back on!
I come to read the forums everyday just trying to get my Harley fix until I get my bike back...pretty sad, huh?
It took almost 3 months for them to repair my wife's 03 VRSC when she layed it over. They got most of the painted parts in, then upon putting it back together noticed a dent in the airbox and had to wait another month for HD to paint up and send one in the silver/black anniversary colors. It will be worth it in the end. If they do yours like hers, anything with a dent of scratch will be replaced even if it was just wear not caused in the accident.
I have a 3 day old 2012 Street Glide sitting at the dealer waiting for parts. I got her on a Thursday and smoked a deer on Saturday. I stoped by the dealer today to see the progress and to my dismay there was NONE.
The trees are turning color here and it would be awful nice to go for a putt.....
