Who makes the platinum system? I know that progressive suspensions air tail system is supposed to have independent adjustment of compression and damping and retains the IAS system that is prevalent on progressives other shocks...like the 440's.

I've never heard a report from anyone using the progressive air tail system though...so I have no idea of whether or not it performs as advertised.

A clip from the ad on JP about the progressive air tail...

With the revolutionary AirTail I.A.S. air suspension system you'll experience improved handling and better control of your 1994-2006 Road KingÂŽ or 1991-2005 Dyna GlideÂŽ. The Inertia Active System separate wheel movement from chassis movement. AirTail I.A.S. incorporate a coil spring system with dual chambered air shocks for total and independent control of ride firmness. With the optional compressor kit you can adjust ride height on the fly! Keep it slammed low around town, but ride higher on the highway for added comfort. Either way, on the streets or across country, you're in control. Use with Electronic Control Center, sold separately. Made in the USA.

And since you already have the compressor system on your bike John, you wouldn't have to replace anything but the shocks...since they sell the shocks and compressor set up individually.

I would be curious myself, I heve never known anybody that ran that system either...

On the serious side I think I would bang my head into a wall if I switched out my DB system and there was no difference[sm=laughat.gif]

The more I ride my bike with the DB system installed, the more I am coming to realize that it rides just as well as the more expensive systems.

I rode to work today(28 miles each way)& was adjusting the air pressure as I rode. Once you find the "sweet spot", the ride is actually pretty smooth.

I borrowed my buddies bike for a while last night with the Hi-Lo system, & I can tell you the ride is almost identical between the Hi-Lo & the DB systems.

I have never actually ridden a bike with the Legend system installed, but from what I've been reading it seems the ride would be pretty similar there also(the ride is described as somewhat firm, definitely not a "Cadillac" type ride)
