Default Rush mufflers

I'm considering a pair of Rush mufflers for my new '07 FLHX, mainly because of a recommendation by Fuel Moto, but I also like the fact that the baffles are interchangeable with four to choose from. Has anyone had any experience with these mufflers and could recommend a baffle size for touring that'll give a nice tone, good low-end and midrange torque, but won't grate on you after a long day in the saddle or drown out the radio?

RUSH 15301 with 2.5" baffles for two seasons - just right - 2.0" are kinda mellow - 2.5" makes it sound like a Harley.

Quiet if you are easy on the throttle - mean if you let her rip.

FULLSAC conversion for me in the spring.

Mine tended to turn gold:

So I covered them:

Look as good as new!!!

I purchased the Rush slipons with 2.5" baffles for my '07 RKC. They're basically the same as the SE but with better flow and sound. I've been very pleased with them.

Installed the Rush 2.5" along with Stage 1 on my 06 RK. Really like the sound. I ride two up atleast 50% of the time, they are not too loud for the wife. So all is good with me.

I've got the 2 inch baffles on my 07 softtail custom, plenty loud enough for me low rumble at idle loud when I wind it up.. If you don't want it too loud I'd say get the 2 inch

Thanks to all for the input. I think the 1.75 or 2.00" baffles will be enough. When Fuel Moto opens back up on Monday I'll be ordering.

I have the 1.75's on my Road Glide and they sound great. I just put on the V&H true duals and they got alot louder verses the stock tail pipes. You'll love them. I got mine at my local HD shop for $299.00

I just installed the 2.0” Rush on my 06 Ultra, PC3, and SE air. Only went for a short ride so far going out Sunday for a real test. But so far I have found it plenty loud going though the gears and quite on the freeway, Power seems very good.

We had a great day for riding in MI. today. I put 120 miles. On the 2” Rush, still not sure about the sound level! I might try the 1.75”, I under stand they are 3DB quieter.
Does anyone know how the performance compares? I like the gains I have seen on the 2”.
