2005 Roadking 5 speed recall

Hey
I have a buddy thats got a 2005 roadking ,,, he was told today that harley had a recall on the trans,,, i have looked for it on line and did not find anything about it ,,, what it is doing is going down the road it has a woop woop woop sound ,, it was only in 5th gear now its in 3 ,4 ,and 5th,, 2 shops had told him this ,, i was thinking thay just wanted to get his money for a trans rebuilt , so if any one know if there was a recall on this and where to find it that would be great

If you can't find it online then it probably doesn't exist.

Who told him about the recall? Maybe they can fill you in.

...never heard of any recall on 2005 5 speeds.....there was no widespread, or talked about problems with 05 5speeds...it was Valve Guide seals that year...
