Hippo Hands! That brings back memories for me - used a pair back in the early "80's. They certainly are not fashion statements for the bike but they sure are effective for keeping your hands warm (along with winter gloves) and preventing drafts up your sleeves during winter riding. The only problem I had with them a couple of times was they interfered with the clutch lever but not enough to be a hazard.
