There are many products out there. Like anything else, everyone will have a different opinion on this. I use Bugslide which repels water & works good for me. Good luck!

I have used S-100 cleaner detailer. It is a spray wax that cleans up the bike, including the windshield and beads up water very well.

I just carry a micro fiber cloth and wipe the upper four inches of the shield inside and out. Also works for face shield, glasses or goggles.

I like Novus 1 for polishing and protection.
Novus 2 for minor scratch repair.
I have used Plexus and that works pretty well too.

RainX works great on my Jeep windshield but I haven't tried it on the bike.
My eyewear gets wet and as a result my vision is impared so the windshield is of no consequence at that point.

They say if you drive fast enough you won't get wet? They say.
