Touring section intro and hello
Howdy all,
Said my standard hello's in the welcome new members area, but figured I'd stop by here to say it as well. (It's where I've spent the most time of the past few weeks reading, and researching stuff).
My names Steve, and I've been riding since, well, my Grandfather bought me my first mini-bike at the age of 5 some 40 years ago. My current ride is an 02' Road King that I've owned since new. I stumbled across these forums in my search for info, and comparisons\opinions of the RK vs Eglide. I've been thinking about a new bike for a year or so now, and the 2012 Electra Glides have me looking very seriously. Doing a test day\ride tomorrow actually, and hope to make a decision by the weekend.
Anyway, hello touring forum. I hope I can be a contributor in some ways, but probably spend more time reading and browsing than anything. Looks like a great place, and again, I've already gained quite a bit of good info, so I'll probably hang out for a while.
