Arc mini two channel amp issue...gain control problem!

Hey guys,
Bought the amp second hand. One of the gain controls (white inset button) wore down when I was trying to adjust it. It was pretty deep set in the amp. Now when I try to adjust it won't turn. Are they expensive to fix and who could repair it? An audio shop?

probably any shop that still repairs electronics--- not many left... BUT the music world still repairs gear rather than replaces, so check for a reference from Steve's or other music store

Rocky Mountain Sound ( concert sound supplier) used to have a great tech who could fix about anything. He had a shop in the front of their business- try calling them.

IF you determine that your "optimal setting"- is all the way up, then it would be easy for a tech to just wire it a jumper and have it at "full" rather than try to get a replacement potentiometer of the same type.
Use the working channel to determine that....that's what I'd do

You could try pulling the cover off and having a look at it. Could be just the cap is bottoming out on something and needs to be "pulled up" a bit.
