I had the 2 piece before my Super Trapps [with clamps] and I liked them for sound and performance. Nice rumble with out being obnoxious loud. They are a good muffler.

I posted this on another thread already but I thought it might help you if I repost it.

Being you have an 07 you might be interested in this, I posted it on
another forum but I'll repost it for you. And yes they sound great
and don't sound much louder then my stock pipes. They sound like
the Turbo mufflers I use to run on my street rods, a very low bass
growling rumble!

Harley Davidson is having a nation wide (all dealers) sale
on Screaming Eagle mufflers for all 07 Harleys which is
about 27% off plus they do the install at no charge, HD
picks up the install labor cost for you.

This started Nov. 22nd 06 and goes till Jan. 30th 07 at
all Harley dealers.

On my trip to Florida this Thanksgiving weekend I had
some SE mufflers put on my 07 at an HD dealer who had
a sign up for the SE sale by the HD factory.

I went to many other HD dealers while I was there and only
two more out of about 8 would even talk about it if I brought
it up, my local dealers didn't even tell me about it on the 22nd
when I was wanting to buy SE mufflers before I left on my trip.

So it appears some HD dealers are charging the full MSRP on
the SE mufflers and pipes then getting the labor money from
the HD factory while your giving them an extra $100,00 for
the mufflers so their making out at both ends if you don't have
them install them and they are making out even better if they
charge you and HD for installing them by not telling you about
the sale.

Mine are $369.95 MSRP plus install labor, sale price was $269.95
and the install was free (payed by the HD Factory) that is saving
some big dollars and Harley is promoting legal muffler use to their
customers. So this is a win,win for everyone as long as your dealer
is not trying to screw both the customer and HD to double up on
their money.

So if you like SE pipes/mufflers and own an 07 Harley ask your
dealer about the sale, hopefully they'll be good dealers and hook
you up with the SE's you want.

Good Luck to all who want SE pipes for their 07 Harleys, I love mine.

Harley is not saying 27% off, I just figured out how much off
MSRP on my own. I just wanted people to know what the %
break was.

Sorry for the miss understanding!

Is the left muffler straight through or blocked like the stock muffler? I wonder because if i put true dual head pipes on with a muffler like the stock it would be unbalanced. Mike

The SE Touring one piece slip ons I have are the same on both
sides.

Before I put them on the stock mufflers starting the bike up on a
cold morning so you can see the vapor coming out of them would
only be coming out the right pipe. Now with the SE's I see it coming
out both sides about evenly..

I hope this answers your question?

I know what you mean, I went to 8 HD dealers in Floirda after
the one that informed me of the deal. Guess what? Only 2 out
of 8 would admit to it and they weren't advertising it at their
counters like the one I bought from.

Since being home only 2 in my area will even admit the HD
factory is doing it!

I can't beleive Harley Davidson is trying to get people to buy
street legal pipes so we don't get our riding privlages taken
away from us because of to loud of pipes and their own
dealers are working against them!

Whats up with that??
