I have a 2012 and have been doing some extensive powder coating. I want to do the transmission cover on the right side of bike where the clutch cable goes into. Do i have to drain the transmission to remove this plate? I assume there is fluid behind it.TIA
Really it gives you a good opportunity to change the tranny fluid.
Be advised: trying to screw the clutch cable bolt back into the cover is a HUGE PITA. It screws in off angle while holding the cable. Getting it started took so long and was so frustrating for something so uncomplicated, I wanted to kick puppies.
